Film Analysis:Quorneshia Milner

In this film clip of the Gladiator "My Name is Maximus Decimus Meridius" there are two main characters and they are Maximus which is played by Russell Crowe and the emperor which is played by Joaquin Phoenix. There are many parts in this clip that have close ups such as when Maximus kneeled down to the emperor omlny to get the spear beside him, when Maximus and the emperor were talking back and forth before he revealed whom he was and many more. The costumes, props, makeup, and the set all tied in together really well. The set was a colluseum with lots of onlookers, there were many props like horses, carriages, dead people body parts,and others they whole scene was really cool looking. Ridley Scott did a really good job directing this film.
